Hey there! We are the Martinis.
Greetings – or how we say in Austria: “Servus”! We are the Martini family, your hosts at Hotel Martini in Kaprun. We are crazy about mountains, love our home, and are straightforward and authentic. Above all, however, we are passionate hosts. And because we don't like to waste many words, we'll just introduce ourselves straight away.
Heidi – nature lover & calm anchor
Heidi has “actually forever” been a part of Hotel Martini – and that's not something she claims just like that. She spent her entire childhood at this hotel in Kaprun.
Today, Heidi has two children of her own and is a true family person. She loves being outdoors and spending time with the whole family. However, she is (almost) just as happy to be around the hotel and makes sure that everything is a little nicer and cosier: a scented candle here, a few flowers there – Heidi just likes to have it neat and lovely. When she's not redecorating the hotel, you'll find her helping the others or having deep conversations with our guests.

Martina – mountains, biking, espresso, what else?
If there is one person who is mentioned in our guest’s reviews, it’s most likely Martina. And it’s no wonder either – she is of loving nature, almost always smiling and, of course, she always has a perfect response up her sleeves. Martina loves working at the reception desk, warmly welcomes all our guests and is always up for short as well as long chats. She also does a lot of work behind the scenes, such as taking care of Hotel Martini’s social media. Even in her free time, Martina is always on the move. She loves mountains and hiking just like she loves splitboarding, snowboarding and cycling.

When Sepp walks around Hotel Martini in Kaprun, he often is not immediately recognised as one of the hosts. ‘Many people think I'm the waiter or the caretaker,’ he says with a grin, ’and they're right.’ After all, Sepp is also responsible for all the manual maintenance work around Hotel Martini, however, he also enjoys business management. “I actually quite like the boring stuff,” he says. But he also enjoys being a host, working early, and having conversations with guests. If you're looking for a great hike, a bike tour or the perfect snowboard run, Sepp will have just what you’re looking for. In his free time, you will find him almost exclusively outdoors – mountaineering, hiking, climbing, cycling or snowboarding. Always by his side: his family. Just like Heidi, Sepp is an absolute family person and can hardly imagine anything better than spending time with his children and family in and around Kaprun.

You won’t be able to make Mr. Martini lose his cool easily – bet? He’s got the right thing to say in every situation: recommending the perfect hike, telling a good joke or sharing a story from Kaprun or his life. He also is just as friendly as he is funny and almost always finds a solution for a problem, we’re not joking.
Even though he no longer works in the hotel, he remains an important part of it. He founded Hotel Martini and has left a long-lasting influence over the years. Today, people still wander into the hotel and ask for ‘Mr. Martini’ – he truly is one of a kind.
